- North Central led for most of the opening game, building a 4-0 lead in the top of the first

- Asia Robinette kicked off the second with a double and crossed the plate on an RBI single from

- The visitors scored twice in the top of the fourth to lead 6-2 but Benedictine answered with two more in the bottom to claw within 6-4
- Robinette again led off with a double and
Becky Roncone singled with Skraba walking to load the bases
- A wild pitch and an error led to the two runs
- Benedictine scored five runs in the sixth to lead for the first time
- Alyssa Gill cleared the bases by singling home two runs and an error on the play allowed the bases to clear and Benedictine to lead
- Another error furthered the lead and Robinette capped the rally with an RBI single
- North Central sent the game to extras by scoring three times in the seventh, the last two of which came with two outs
- Megan Fast ended the game in the bottom of the ninth by lifting a sacrifice fly with the bases to score Robinette

- Alexandra Loizon worked eight innings in the circle, striking out five
- Ashley Fisher earned the win in relief
- Benedictine finished with 14 hits, 13 of which were singles
- Robinette notched four hits and scored three runs
- Skraba, Fast, Gill and Chada all tallied two hits as seven players tallied hits
THE DETAILS - GM 2
- With the temperatures dropping and the length of the opener, the second game started as battle between hurlers
- Fast retired the first six North Central hitters before a leadoff single in the third
- The visitors scored first on a two-out single
- Benedictine evened the game in the bottom of the inning, also with two outs
- Robinette continued the strong day with a single and scored from first on a double by Skraba
- Gill opened the fourth inning with a homer to left to put Benedictine ahead
- A grand slam in the fifth was part of a five-run inning for North Central to take a 6-2 advantage
- Benedictine came back with two in the bottom of the inning but left the bases loaded
- Chada and Skraba singled to start the rally
- Fast singled home Chada and later in the inning Gill logged an RBI single to drive in Skraba
STAT LEADERS - GM 2
- Skraba, Gill and Robinette all finished with two hits
- Robinette tallied six hits in the doubleheader
- Benedictine finished with 10 hits
- Fast took the loss, working 4.1 innings
- Fisher finished the game with 2.2 scoreless

Benedictine (4-5) is scheduled to host Wisconsin Lutheran on Saturday in non-conference play. The games were moved to Lisle, Ill. due to expected weather in Wisconsin.
