LISLE, IL - In a matchup of top-10 programs to determine the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, the sixth-ranked Benedictine University men's volleyball team fell to Dominican.

THE DETAILS
• Dominican came out of the gates strong, scoring the first two points and leading 5-1
• Chase Olson put down a kill as Benedictine settled down to tie the score at 7-7 and a kill from 
Nathan Klimisch tied the score again at 8-8
• Dominican started to pull away and led by eight to grab the opening set
• The second set was even throughout
• Benedictine rattled off three straight points to lead 23-22 late but Dominican scored four of the next five to take the commanding lead
• Dominican opened a 10-3 lead in the third but Benedictine came back to within 13-12 behind a five-point run that included three 
Jacob Grygo kills
• The visitors again began to pull away and held off a late surge to nab the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament
