LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team put a wrench in the South Division championship picture by recording a senior day split with visiting Dominican.

• Benedictine came out strong after honoring the senior class, opening a 7-3 lead following a pair of aces from
Jamie Janczak
• Dominican came back to lead by four at 20-16, but Benedictine recorded four consecutive kills to tie the score
• Molly Stock put down the second set point to hand Benedictine the opening set decision
• Dominican led 10-3 and opened a 19-8 lead before Benedictine made headway
• Benedictine pushed within two on several occasions but could not get over the hump

• Benedictine scored seven-of-eight points in the middle of the opening set to lead 13-8 following a kill from Estopare
• An ace from Primas pushed the lead to 19-13 and Huizenga ended the set with a kill
• Zurawski opened the second set with a kill but Benedictine did not lead again in the second
• Benedictine scored the opening point of the third, but Dominican went on to lead 13-3
• Stock put down a kill as Benedictine ripped off nine in a row to pull within 13-12
• An ace from Mojica would allow Benedictine to briefly lead at 16-15
• Benedictine was on top 21-19before the visitors scored four straight
• Four kills in the fourth during a six-point run enabled Benedictine to open a 15-11 lead
