CHICAGO, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team all but secured a conference championship with an eighth consecutive win at Illinois Tech.

THE DETAILS
- Scott Ransom scored the first goal of the game at the 10:20 mark of the first quarter
- Illinois Tech tied the score less than two minutes later
- Thomas Tillett scored a man-up goal to open a strong of three consecutive goals as Benedictine led 4-1
- The hosts pulled within 4-3 late in the second, but two goals in 20 seconds from Ransom and
Joe Spahn put Benedictine ahead 6-3 at the half
- The tempo of the game continued to be played slow and Illinois Tech crept to withing 7-6 but Benedictine scored the final three goals to grab the win
