Men's Volleyball Marches on to National Semifinals

SALEM, VA - The seventh-ranked Benedictine University men's volleyball team took down the top-ranked team from the East Region in straight sets to reach the NCAA Division III semifinals.

Martin Radomski opened the contest with a kill before Lancaster Bible, who hadn't played in over a month, scored five straight
- Benedictine battled back into the match when a Tim Folliard kill opened a stretch of six-of-seven points to put Benedictine ahead 7-6
- Folliard posted a pair of kills and an ace as Benedictine opened a three-point edge at 15-12
- Chase Olson put down a pair of kills and Nathan Klimisch added another as Benedictine built a 20-14 lead
- An attack error put Benedictine at set point but Lancaster Bible notched three in a row before a service error ended the opening set
- The Benedictine defense continued to keep Lancaster Bible off balance in the second set but it wasn't until late that Benedictine was able to gain separation
- Radomski logged a kill and an ace to open a run of five straight points as Benedictine led 23-19 following three consecutive errors
- Klimisch sent Benedictine to set point and after a pair of points from Lancaster Bible put down the winner to close the second
- Benedictine led for much of the third
- After falling behind 3-1, All-American Jacob Grygo put down a kill and added an ace as part of a 6-0 run to put Benedictine in front 7-3
- Folliard and Grygo combined for kills as Benedictine led 13-8
- Lancaster Bible came back to tie the score at 14-14 and 15-15 before a pair of errors led to Benedictine leading 18-15
- Benedictine continued to take advantage of mistakes and ended the match with a kill from the other All-American, Chase Olson
- Benedictine hit .243 for the match, putting down 16 kills in the second set
