RIVER FOREST, IL - The Benedictine University softball team finished off a weekend sweep of Concordia Chicago by using a pair of massive innings in each game during a combined 38-run road outburst.

GAME ONE DETAILS
- Benedictine scored 14 runs in the top of the first
- 18 players came to the plate in the inning

Neena Franklin with a two-run double and a two-run homer
- Ashley Fisher drove home three runs in the inning and
Asia Robinette plated two
- Benedictine added three more runs in the second and another in the fourth on a homer from

GAME ONE LEADERS
- Benedictine finished with 18 hits in the win
- Franklin drove home five and Fisher plated four
- Gill scored four times and logged three hits with
Megan Fast also totaling three hits
- Alexandra Loizon was the beneficiary of the run support in the circle
GAME TWO DETAILS
- Benedictine led 4-0 in the second game but needed to come from behind for the victory
- Colleen Schmit, Robinette and
Sara Allison drove home runs in the first and
Taylor Skraba homered in the second to put Benedictine ahead 4-0
- Concordia Chicago opened a 6-4 lead after scoring four times in the third before another huge inning
- Benedictine scored 12 runs in the fourth to lead 16-6
- 17 batters came to the plate during the onslaught
- Skraba opened the scoring in the inning with her second homer of the game, a three-run blast
- Allison also connected on a three-run homer in the frame
- Allison homered again in a four-run fifth
GAME TWO LEADERS
- Benedictine amassed 22 hits in the second contest to finish with 40 in the twinbill
- Skraba finished 5-for-5 with two homers, two doubles, five runs scored and six RBIs
- Allison homered twice and drove in five
- Nine players posted hits
- Fisher picked up the win with 2.2 innings of relief
