THE DETAILS
• Aurora tallied the first three points of the match and did not trail in the opening set
• Consecutive kills from Caroline O'Connor and Brooke Huizenga helped Benedictine take a 10-6 lead in the second but Aurora scored nine in a row to pull away
• The hosts scored the first six of the third set and did not trail in winning the opener
• Sam Zurawski recorded a kill to open the second match but Aurora scored the next three and did not trail again using a stretch of scoring eight-of-nine
• Yngride JeanPhillipe opened the second set with a kill and Benedictine found themselves in front 3-1 early before Aurora slowly pulled away
• Benedictine held a 3-0 lead and a 5-1 edge in the third but Aurora did not go away, grabbing control in the middle point of the set
