• Taylor Skraba stayed hot, providing much of the offense with her 16th homer of the season in the third, a two-run blast
• Already owning the school record, Skraba is tied for the national lead in homers
• Three more runs scored in the fifth to push the lead to 5-0
• Asia Robinette notched the only run-scoring hit in the frame
• Megan Fast singled home two in the bottom of the sixth and
Colleen Schmit ended the game with an RBI double
• Benedictine grabbed the lead in the first inning of the second game on a single from

• The team then struck for eight runs in the fourth

• Skraba notched two hits, scored three runs and drove home two in the opener as Benedictine finished with 10 hits
• Schmit and Roncone also tallied a pair of hits while Fast knocked in two
• Alexandra Loizon tossed a shutout in the circle, striking out eight and allowing just one hit
• Fisher led a nine-hit attack in the second contest with three hits and also plated a pair
• Fast and Robinette both knocked home two while Gill finished with two hits
