CHICAGO, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team saw a 17-game win streak end in the opener but battled back to split with Illinois Tech on the road.

- Illinois Tech built a big lead early in the opener and did not look back, scoring multiple runs in the first four innings to lead 10-1 after four innings

Damen Castillo homered in the sixth before four more runs from Illinois Tech in the bottom of the inning
