THE DETAILS
- Illinois Tech scored the first three points of the set and did not trail
- A pair of bad sets enabled Benedictine to tie the match at 13-13 and 15-15, but Illinois Tech scored five straight
- Illinois Tech led 4-0 and 7-1 in the second and did not trail
- Courtney Levy posted two aces in a four-point stretch as Benedictine led 7-3 in the third and
Brooke Huizenga added a kill
- Illinois Tech came back to make it close but
Caroline O'Connor opened a five-point run as Benedictine stretched the lead to 22-15
- Huizenga notched a pair of kills as Benedictine closed out the set
- Yngride JeanPhillipe put Benedictine ahead 8-7 in the fourth but Illinois Tech notched four in a row to take the lead and pull away
