CHICAGO, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team stormed to an eighth straight win on the road Tuesday night.

THE DETAILS
- Claire Gibler scored the first four points of the game and Benedictine did not trail in the contest
- Gibler scored 11 of the first 13 points as Benedictine opened a 13-2 lead just over three minutes into the game
- Benedictine led 26-10 after the first on a basket from Brianna Lake
- Brilan McCory pushed the lead to over 20 early in the second quarter by completing a three-point play and Benedictine led 41-15 at halftime
- Benedictine continued to expand the lead as more players saw the floor, eventually leading by as many as 47

STAT LEADERS
- 17 players saw action with 13 scoring points as the bench totaled 54 points
- Benedictine shot over 70 percent in the first quarter and finished the game at 50.8 percent
- Gibler and Alex Fanning both scored 13 points
- Fanning added seven rebounds, four blocks and four assists
- Britney Pitzer returned to score 11 points off the bench while Marissa Hanley tacked on 10
