THE DETAILS
• Jacob Grygo opened the match with a kill and
Chase Olson and
Cooper Armstrong also put down kills as Benedictine scored the first six points of the opening set
• Lakeland only got as close as six in the set as Benedictine pulled away early
• The second set started similar with Benedictine scoring the first four points with an ace from
Nathan Klimisch, a kill from Armstrong and a block from Grygo and
Tim Folliard included
• Lakeland pulled within four on several occasions but Benedictine closed out the win
• The visitors finally led in the third set after scoring the first two points
• Lakeland led 9-5 before Benedictine ripped off 10-of-11 points to gain control
• Benedictine hit .571 in the opening set and finished the contest at .317
