LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team battled late but suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of visiting North Central College in the first home meeting between the two programs.

THE DETAILS
• North Central took the lead in the first minute of the game and did not look back
• Joe Spahn tallied the first Benedictine goal at the 10:06 mark before North Central notched eight straight to grab control
• The visitors led 11-2 at halftime
• Benedictine did a better job of controlling possession and was able to score nine goals in the second half but could get no closer than the final
• Will Robinson scored man-up with just over five minutes remaining on a feed from
Colin Domek to start a stretch of four consecutive goals to close the contest
• Spahn, Robinson and Domek scored the final three goals of the contest
