CLERMONT, FL - The Benedictine University softball team scored 17 runs in a pair of games but split in Florida.

KALAMAZOO DETAILS
• Benedictine opened a wild game with a pair of runs in the first inning
• Taylor Skraba led off the game with a triple and scored on a double from
Megan Fast
• Ashley Fisher made the score 2-0 with an RBI triple
• Kalamazoo came back with three runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead and added another run in the second
• Sara Allison lifted a sacrifice fly to score
Colleen Schmit in the fourth
• Kalamazoo answered with three in the bottom of the inning to jump ahead 7-3
• Benedictine came all the way back to tie the game behind three runs in the fifth on doubles from Fast and Schmit and a run in the seventh on a triple from Schmit
• Kalamazoo was able to grab the win by walking off with a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh

• Fast worked 5.2 innings in relief and suffered the loss
• Benedictine totaled 12 hits with three players logging multiple hits
• Schmit and Fast tallied three apiece with Skraba notching two
MANCHESTER DETAILS
• Benedictine scored four runs in the first inning to take the lead
• Fast and Ashley Gill posted RBI doubles before Fisher hit a two-run homer
• The lead reached 6-0 in the third and Benedictine ended the game with three in the sixth
