• Concordia Chicago scored the first four points of the opening set and led for a bulk of the first

Nathan Klimisch opened a run of three straight to tie the set with a kill
• Benedictine led for the first time at 21-20 and finally closed out the set on another Klimisch kill
• The visitors led the second set 5-2

Jacob Grygo put down a kill to open a stretch of four straight as Benedictine took the lead
• Concordia Chicago posted a run of four points as well to regain the edge and held leads of 21-19 and 22-21
