CHICAGO, IL - The Benedictine University men's volleyball team opened a swing of three straight road contests to end the season with a sweep at Illinois Tech.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine did not trail in the opening set, ripping off five straight early to grab an 8-2 lead
- Jacob Grygo logged back-to-back blocks and a kill during a four-point run that saw Benedictine lead 20-7
- Chase Olson closed out the first set with a kill
- Illinois Tech put down a kill to notch the first point of the second set but did not lead again
- Martin Radomski and Grygo put down kills while
Tim Folliard and Radomski combined on a block as Benedictine led 10-5
- Benedictine slowly pulled away with
Cooper Armstrong putting down two kills in a run of three straight to close the second
- The hosts led at the start of the third until Grygo and Armstrong finished swings and Folliard posted a block as Benedictine led 11-8
- Four straight points from Benedictine made the score 22-15 as the team pulled away for the sweep
- Benedictine made just eight hitting errors while hitting .400 for the contest including a .500 mark in the second
