LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University softball team combined for 18 runs in a doubleheader sweep of Wisconsin Lutheran.

GAME ONE DETAILS
• Asia Robinette put Benedictine on the board in the bottom of the first with an RBI single
• Faith Chada singled home a run in the second
• Benedictine broke the game wide open with eight runs in the third, sending 12 to the plate
• Colleen Schmit and Ashley Fisher recorded consecutive RBI singles
• Sara Allison singled home a third run and another came across on a wild pitch
• Megan Fast cleared the bases with a three-run triple and Alyssa Gill finished the scoring with an RBI single
• The two runs for Wisconsin Lutheran came in the fourth

• Alexandra Loizon struck out eight in five innings to earn the win
• Benedictine finished with 10 hits, three from Fast

GAME TWO DETAILS
• Gill opened the scoring in game two with a two-run double in the first
• Taylor Skraba extended the lead with an RBI single in the second
• The final five runs scored in the third as Benedictine put together another big inning
• Allison, Fisher and Chada all singled home runs
• Fast added a two-run single as Benedictine rebounded from Friday

GAME TWO LEADERS
• Fast twirled a complete game in the circle, striking out three
• Eight players posted hits as Benedictine finished with 11 and 21 for the doubleheader
