NAPERVILLE, IL - The Benedictine University softball team traveled down the road and split a pair of non-conference games with North Central.

GAME ONE DETAILS
- North Central opened the scoring with two runs in the third inning but did not score again
- Benedictine started to come from behind in the fourth with a single run when
Alyssa Gill crossed the plate on a groundout from
Sara Allison
- Asia Robinette singled home two in the fifth to take the lead
- Allison coaxed a bases loaded walk to force home Robinette and make the score 4-2
- Gill drove home the final run in the sixth with a single
GAME ONE LEADERS
- Alexandra Loizon struck out seven in a complete game to grab her 10th win of the year

GAME TWO DETAILS
- The second contest was a very different game as both teams scored three times in the first
- Schmit singled home the first run with two outs
- Ashley Fisher recorded a two-run double to center, making the score 3-0
- North Central scored three more in the sixth to take a 6-3 edge and did not trail again
- Schmit singled home a run in the fifth before North Central scored the next three
- The first two batters of the seventh reached before Schmit doubled home two but Benedictine could get no closer
GAME TWO LEADERS
- The teams combined for 28 hits in the second contest
- Benedictine totaled 12 hits
- Schmit recorded three hits and drove home four
- Gill and
Taylor Skraba both notched two
