MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University softball team reached the 20-win mark for the year in a sweep of Alverno.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine scored in all but two innings of the doubleheader
- Benedictine scored eight runs in the top of the first in the opener
- Megan Fast drove home four runs in the first inning
- Fast and Sara Allison homered in the opening contest
- The second game saw Benedictine score five runs in the first keyed by a two-run single from Allison
- Benedictine hit three homers in the second contest

STAT LEADERS
- Fast drove home five in the first game and tallied three hits as Benedictine amassed 20
- Colleen Schmit and Allison both knocked home three with Alyssa Gill adding thre hits
- Alexandra Loizon worked three innings to earn her 11th win while Leah Navarro posted the final two
- Gill drove home four in the second contest
- Allison finished 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBIs
- Fast worked three innings in game two to earn the win while Lauren Gallagher worked the final two
