AURORA, IL - The Benedictine University softball team picked up a pair of big 4-2 decisions over Aurora on the road, pulling closer to a conference tournament slot.

GAME ONE DETAILS
• Benedictine built a 2-0 lead in the first game
• Ashley Fisher doubled home a run in the second and Alyssa Gill singled home a run in the third
• Aurora plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the third to tie the game
• The contest remained even until the sixth when Caroline Caesar drew a bases loaded walk
• An insurance run crossed in the seventh on a double from Asia Robinette

GAME ONE LEADERS
• Alexandra Loizon twirled a complete game to gather win #12 on the season
• Seven different individuals posted hits as Benedictine tallied eight
• Fisher notched a pair

GAME TWO DETAILS
• Robinette pounded a three-run homer in the top of the third to put Benedictine ahead
• Aurora scored singled runs in the third and fourth but Benedictine notched the difference maker in the fifth
• Gill drove home the run with a groundout
• Aurora put the tying runs on base with one out in the seventh but could not score

GAME TWO LEADERS
• Megan Fast went the distance in the circle, earning her eighth win of the season
• Taylor Skraba finished with three hits while Fisher and Faith Chada notched two each
