Softball Drops Final Two Contests of Regular Season

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University softball team ended the regular season with a pair of one-run losses to the nationally ranked conference champs.

Taylor Skraba put Benedictine ahead in the opener with a solo homer in the third
- The hosts plated three in the fourth to grab the lead
- Benedictine left the tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position in the sixth
- The second game provided a flurry of runs in a back-and-forth affair
- Sara Allison and Megan Fast hit two run homers in the second
- Asia Robinette hit a three-run homer in the fourth and Fast homered again in the fifth
- After the hosts rallied from a 10-7 deficit to lead 13-10, Alyssa Gill hit a dramatic game-tying three-run homer in the seventh
