AURORA, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team won a second straight NACC Championship, capturing a defensive battle at Aurora.

Colin Domek tied the score just before the end of the first
• The goal was the first of three straight for Benedictine as Aurora would not lead again
• Joe Spahn put in the lone tally of the second as Benedictine led 3-2 at the half
• Domek scored midway through the third to open a 4-2 advantage
• Aurora was able to tie the score at 4-4 early in the fourth
• Spahn struck again with nine minutes left to put Benedictine ahead again
• Aurora evened the game less than a minute later
• Scott Ransom put home the game-winner from Domek with 6:30 to play and the defense held strong the rest of the way
• Benedictine won the tournament for the second straight year despite falling to Aurora and MSOE in the regular season and tying for second
