The Benedictine University men's volleyball team opened the season with a thrilling five-set win over #7 New Paltz at home. Benedictine hit .318 for the match posting a .500 clip without an error in the second set and adding another .500 performance in the decisive fifth.
Nathan Klimisch posted a double-double with 15 kills and 11 digs.
Cooper Armstrong finished with 11 kills and
Brannen Almarales made his collegiate debut with 10 kills.
Kyle Vasquez recorded 11 digs.
