Brilan McCory launched a three at the buzzer but an attempt to tie the game would not fall as the Benedictine University women's basketball team suffered a 62-59 loss at Aurora. Benedictine trailed by 11 with just over six minutes remaining but rallied late. McCory led all scorers with 19 points. Benedictine shot 40 percent in the contest that featured five ties and seven lead changes.
Jordan Carlquist added 12 points in the loss.
