The Benedictine University women's basketball team continued a challenging non-conference schedule with a loss on the road at Wheaton by an 89-55 score.
Benedictine fell behind 5-0 early and did not lead in the game but did outscore the hosts in the third quarter 25-19, almost half of the total points. Benedictine shot 64 percent in the third and finished the game at 40.8 percent. Benedictine managed just 17 rebounds in the contest.
Ryann Ogarek paced Benedictine with 13 points while
Jordan Carlquist added 11.
Benedictine (0-3) is off until welcoming local rival North Central next Tuesday night.
