Trevor Montiel scored 28 points but home standing Lakeland put together a strong second half to deal the Benedictine University men's basketball team a loss in the final road game of the year by a 99-88 score. Lakeland scored 63 points in the second half, shot 62 percent and hit seven threes to come away with the win. Benedictine held a 48-43 edge on the glass and shot 38 percent for the game.
