Logan Gregorio smacked a walk-off three-run homer to cap a four-run bottom of the ninth inning as the Benedictine University baseball team won a third in a row in Florida, topping the College of New Jersey 11-8. Gregorio's longball allowed Benedictine to overcome seven unearned runs and 14 left on base in the contest. Benedictine answered every time TCNJ scored.
Nick Kosmetatos worked five innings and did not allow an earned run, striking out five.
Andrew Tenison picked up the win in relief by working two innings. Gregorio drove home four runs, Tenison reached base four times,
Kevin Bushnell reached three times.
Brennan Fisher posted two hits along with Gregorio as Benedictine totaled 12.
Justin Nonnenmann belted a homer and knocked in three in his first start.
