The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team fell behind early but came back to down Edgewood 17-6 and win the conference opener on Saturday afternoon. Edgewood scored the first two goals and led 3-2 after the opening quarter.
Will Robinson scored in the first minute of the second to begin a stretch of nine straight goals finished by another Robinson tally while down a man as Benedictine opened an 11-3 lead. Robinson scored seven goals and added two assists.
Jordan Chock struck three times and added three assists. Benedictine put 32 shots on goal.
James Ford collected seven groundballs.
