The Benedictine University women's basketball team went on the road to face #6 UW-Oshkosh and dropped a 71-40 decision.
Oshkosh scored the first eight points of the contest and did not trail. The hosts had not played since before Thanksgiving. Benedictine, who did not play last week due to finals, pulled within 17-11 at the end of the first and held within single digits for most of the second quarter before Oshkosh closed with the final four points to lead 34-22.
Benedictine shot 31.1 percent in the contest.
Megan Duzansky led all scorers with 12 points as the lone player to reach double digits. Duzansky also recorded four steals.
Benedictine (3-4) hosts Monmouth on Wednesday afternoon in another non-conference clash.
