The Benedictine University men's volleyball team recovered after dropping the first set to break a two-match slide with a four-set victory at Edgewood.
Benedictine hit .223 in the contest and took advantage of Edgewood mistakes in the second set to turn momentum with a 25-15 decision.
Brannen Almarales led the offense with 10 kills and was involved in everything, also recording three aces and eight digs. Benedictine totaled 12 aces in the win.
Brayden Rice notched nine digs.
Chase Olson totaled four aces to go with six blocks.
Spencer VanEngen dished 31 assists while
Jordan Cardenas amassed 12 digs.
Benedictine (13-9, 8-2 NACC) finishes a stretch of three straight on the road Wednesday with a visit to Concordia Wisconsin that could determine a home game in the conference tournament.
