Haley Barnes homered again, a two-run blast, as part of the third inning rally.
Barnes and
Victoria Duszynski both notched two hits in the win as Benedictine amassed 10.
Bella Lodico threw a five-inning shutout, allowing just three hits.
GAME TWO: BENEDICTINE 12, MOUNT MARY 3
Mount Mary grabbed an early 2-0 lead but Benedictine settled down and pulled away behind four runs in the second and six in the third.
Morgan Bruno knocked home four while tallying three hits.
Lauryn Olson also notched three hits as Benedictine finished with 14.
Mia Giammarese did not allow an earned run in the win.
Benedictine (19-11) returns to conference play on Saturday on the road against Marian.
