Continuing a busy home weekend of action against nationally ranked teams, the Benedictine University men's volleyball team captured the first two sets but lost in five to fourth-ranked California Lutheran, the defending national champions.
The match was back and forth for most of the night. Benedictine had match point in the third set but California Lutheran turned the tide by scoring three consecutive points.
Chris Radomski had another incredible performance. The contest marked the second five-set match of the weekend.
Both teams were strong at the net. Benedictine hit .217 for the match but was just .0053 in the decisive fifth.

It doesn't get any easier for Benedictine (3-3) as #7 Loras visits on Saturday night at 7pm. Benedictine has faced five teams receiving national recognition among the six matches this year and is 2-3 with two five-set losses.
