The Benedictine University women's basketball team visited Wisconsin Lutheran on Saturday afternoon and suffered a 55-36 defeat to the co-leaders of the conference.
Wisconsin Lutheran scored the first points of the game and did not trail, opening an 9-1 lead at the 6:21 mark of the opening quarter. The lead would grow to 11 before
Alexis Schueler scored a layup to close the quarter down 19-10. The hosts led by double digits for nearly the entire second, leading 32-18 at halftime. The largest lead for Wisconsin Lutheran was 23 late in the fourth.
Benedictine shot just 22 percent in the game and did not make a three in the first half.
Olympia Kokkines came off the bench to tally eight points and lead the team.
Megan Duzansky added seven.
Hailey Bachmann brought in nine rebounds.
Benedictine (11-10, 7-5 NACC) will travel to Illinois Tech on Wednesday night.
