The Benedictine University softball team swept Elmhurst on the road Thursday afternoon.

Benedictine scored in six different innings to take the opener. A wild contest saw Benedictine leading 7-6 entering the fifth before scoring four times.
Mckenzie Johnson drove home four runs and started in the circle, earning the win.
BENEDICTINE 4, ELMHURST 1
Three runs in the fourth saw Benedictine break a 1-1 tie and tally the win in game two.
Haley Barnes logged three hits while driving home two.
Jasmine Lozano struck out six in the complete game effort.
Benedictine (10-4) will host Lakeland in a conference doubleheader beginning at 2pm on Friday.
