The Benedictine University softball team finally had the opportunity to play at Concordia Wisconsin following a pair of postponements, but the team was swept in the two conference affairs.
CONCORDIA WISCONSIN 4, BENEDICTINE 2
Haley Barnes homered in the top of the first to give Benedictine a 2-0 lead that held all the way until the bottom of the seventh when the hosts were able to score three times and walk away with a 4-2 victory.
Mckenzie Johnson was the lone player to record multiple hits and also took the loss in the circle, allowing four runs in six innings.
CONCORDIA WISCONSIN 10, BENEDICTINE 4
Benedictine led twice, but Concordia Wisconsin put six runs on the board in the bottom of the third to streak to the victory.
Victoria Duszynski singled home a run in the first but a three-run homer in the bottom of the inning put Benedictine behind.

Breanne Deutscher and Barnes all drove home runs in the second as Benedictine countered to lead 4-3. Concordia Wisconsin tied the game in the bottom of the inning before the outburst in the third.
Deutscher, Duszynski and
Jenna Bartke all notched two hits as Benedictine totaled 12. Three different pitchers appeared in the contest.
Benedictine (15-13, 4-8 NACC) will continue a busy week at Edgewood on Saturday.
