Box Score The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team made it four consecutive wins after coming away with a 15-8 victory at Carroll in non-conference play.
Luke Grant opened the scoring and 
Dylan Langley put Benedictine ahead 2-1 midway through the first but the hosts scored three in a row to lead 4-2. The second quarter is when Benedictine took command. 
Aiden Elliott netted back-to-back goals to tie the score, part of four straight for Benedictine in a five-goal outburst. 
AJ Smerz was able to give Benedictine the lead. Carroll was within two midway through the third, but 
Moussa Diallo opened a run of five consecutive tallied headed into the fourth to put Benedictine in command for good.
Benedictine posted 50 shots in the win, won 17 faceoffs, picked up 41 groundballs and successfully converted on 14 clear attempts. Elliott scored three times and added two assists. 
Luis Hernandez also scored three times. 
Jack Whalon, who won another conference weekly award, claimed 17 faceoff wins and collected 14 groundballs. 
Dominick Flores caused three turnovers. 
Colin Doyle, fresh off being honored by the conference, made five saves in net.
Benedictine (5-8) hosts Marian on Saturday.
