Men's Hoops Tips Wisconsin Lutheran

The Benedictine University men's basketball team will head into the conference tournament on a winning note after squeezing out a road win in the regular season finale at Wisconsin Lutheran.

The game was tight throughout and saw 10 lead changes
- Noah Mason started a 7-0 run to give Benedictine the largest lead of the first half at 21-14 with 8:55 left in the opening 20
- Wisconsin Lutheran came back, but Benedictine rode a 38-37 lead into the break
- The hosts scored the first seven points of the second half to grab the advantage
- The lead reached seven before Benedictine chipped away, taking the lead on a three from Ryan Sammons at the 13:09 mark
- Ben Peacock hit two free throws to extend the margin to double figures at 65-55 with 8:29 remaining
- Benedictine led by four with just over a minute to go but Wisconsin Lutheran scored five straight to take the lead with 14 seconds to go
