The Benedictine University men's basketball team saw the season come to a close with a loss at Aurora in the NACC Tournament.

- Benedictine played from behind for the entire game
- Benedictine made just one of their first five attempts from the field as Aurora built an eight-point lead early
- The deficit reached double figures just over five minutes into the contest
- Aurora put together long runs to push the margin to 22 points with 7:52 left in the first
- Benedictine whittled the deficit down to 14 on a layup by Brandon McCoy but went into the break down 56-41 after a hot-shooting half for the hosts
- The defense was able to slow Aurora in the second and give Benedictine a chance at a comeback, rallying furiously
- A three-point play from Noah Mason drew Benedictine within 72-64 with 9:50 remaining
- Another basket by Mason made the score 76-71 with 6:34 to play but Benedictine could pull no closer as Aurora made free throws to seal the win

- Benedictine shot 46.4 percent for the game and limited Aurora to just six second half field goals but the hosts attempted 29 free throws in the second
- Aurora held a 38-29 edge on the glass although Benedictine reeled in 13 offensive boards
- Benedictine tallied 50 points in the paint
- Mason led all scorers with 26 points and eight rebounds
- Ryan Sammons added 15 with McCoy contributing 14
