Braden Behrens, the conference pitcher of the week and national rookie of the week runner-up, was dealing on the mound, allowing just a single run in the ninth

- Benedictine built an early 3-0 lead in the second contest
- Nonnenmann tripled home a pair in the bottom of the first and Friedrich singled home a run in the second
- St. Norbert took advantage of three unearned runs to even the game
- The guests scored 10 unanswered to pull away, adding seven over the sixth, seventh and eighth
- Benedictine scored their final run in the ninth when Nonnemann doubled home a run
