The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team suffered their first loss of the season, falling at Illinois Wesleyan on Thursday night.

- Illinois Wesleyan scored the first three goals of the contest
- Playing on the road for the first time this season Dylan Langley scored unassisted with 4:06 left in the opening quarter to put Benedictine on the board
- The hosts responded with six straight to open the second quarter
- Aiden Elliott and Moussa Diallo scored back-to-back tallies before the end of the half to bring Benedictine within 9-3
