The Benedictine University baseball team celebrated 19 seniors after a doubleheader with MSOE on Friday.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine did not lead in the doubleheader against the conference leaders
- MSOE built a 2-0 edge in the opener with single runs in the third and fifth
- MSOE's starter retired 13 straight before
Spencer Geake doubled in the bottom of the fifth

David Kaminsky singled home Geake and reached scoring position but was stranded
- MSOE pulled away late with four in the seventh and five in the eighth
- The second contest saw MSOEÂ build a 7-0 but Benedictine rallied to make it a game
- Three runs scored in the bottom of the sixth

Mike Budorick singled home a run and went all the way to third as another run scored on an error
- Geake then lifted a sacrifice fly to plate Budorick
- Benedictine brought the go-ahead run to the plate in the seventh but could not break through
- Budorick singled home a run in the inning and Tommy Jusi was hit by a pitch
- MSOE extended the lead in the eighth and Benedictine was able to get one back in the bottom but pulled no closer

- Benedictine finished with five hits, two of which came from Geake
