After an exhibition match and a cancellation on last weekend's trip to Indiana, the Benedictine University women's lacrosse team will play its first home match and first official game of the 2014 season on
Saturday. The Eagles will take on the Hornets of Kalamazoo College at
1:00 p.m at the Village of Lisle/Benedictine University Sports Complex.
The Eagles defeated Franklin College 14-7 on Saturday. Sunday's game at DePauw was postponed due to inclement weather.
Much like the Eagles, Saturday will also be
Kalamzoo's first game of the season, as last Saturday's contest against Defiance was postponed. Members of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, Saturday's women's lacrosse game will be Kalamazoo's first as members of NCAA Division III. Over the past five years, the Hornets have competed as a club sport.
Saturday is the first of ten home games on the schedule for BenU women's lacrosse. Live audio and video will also be available for Saturday's game against Kalamazoo.
Lukas Stanczyk and Brendan Goler will be on-air at 1:00 p.m. at
