The Benedictine University men's basketball team pulled out a 67-63 win at North Central to bring home the annual traveling trophy and capture a second straight victory. The contest featured seven ties and 11 lead changes as Benedictine saw a seven-point lead chopped to two in the final minute before hitting two late free throws. Two players fouled out and Benedictine missed 12 free throws but made 10 triples in the win, shooting 53.8 percent in the first half and 47.9 percent for the contest.
Cullen Cosme scored a career best 18 while reeling in eight rebounds.
Andrew Stokes added 15 off the bench and Benedictine finished +12 on the glass in the win.
