The Benedictine University men's basketball team led for nearly the entire first half but a hot-shooting unbeaten Concordia Chicago came to life early in the second to score an 87-74 win on Saturday afternoon in conference action. Trailing 5-0 early, Benedictine utilized an 11-0 run to move ahead by eight points. Concordia Chicago made six of the first eight shots in the second half to jump ahead and pull away. Benedictine shot 59 percent in the first half but finished the game at 47 percent.
Andrew Stokes came off the bench to score 19 points while
Brandon McCoy scored 15 in a reserve role.
Marvin Agwomoh logged 13 points and nine rebounds while
Cullen Cosme scored 11.
