The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team has reached the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year after winning the conference's automatic bid with a 6-5 victory over Aurora in the conference championship contest.

Benedictine was sent to Sewanee, Tenn. for a first round game with the winner advancing to the weekend and a chance to face #1 Christopher Newport. Benedictine and Sewanee will play at 3pm on Wednesday.

Sewanee is in the NCAA Tournament after winning the Southern Athletic Association Tournament. The Tigers are hosting for the first time and finished the regular season 8-8. The teams previously played in 2013, the first year that Sewanee reached the NCAA Tournament.
