The Benedictine University men's basketball team fell behind by double digits in the opening moments of the game but used a 13-0 run to start the second half to take the lead but visiting Rockford was able to run to a 74-64 win on Tuesday night. Three players reached double figures led by 19 from
Andrew Stokes, who also reeled in seven rebounds. Rockford held a 48-34 edge on the glass. Marvin Agwoomoh finished 8-of-9 from the field and totaled 16 points while
Trevor Montiel kicked in 13. The game featured six ties and 16 lead changes, most of which were in the first half. Benedictine finished just 3-of-26 from three-point range.
