The Benedictine University men's volleyball team put forth a valiant effort, especially early, but dropped a straight set decision to sixth-ranked Carthage, the two-time defending national champs, on the road. Benedictine posted more kills than the champs in the opening set but Carthage flexed their muscle in the second, hitting .727 with 17 kills. For the match Benedictine hit .129.
Cooper Armstrong led Benedictine with nine kills.
Sanchit Khaitan posted 24 assists and
Martin Radomski finished with six digs.
