The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team scored a season high 14 goals but suffered a 21-14 defeat in non-conference action at home to Carthage. Benedictine led 2-1 midway through the first on goals from
Dylan Langley and
Will Robinson but Carthage answered with the next six and did not trail again. Benedictine battled within 12-9 late in the third but Carthage tallied nine of the next 11 to pull away.
Jordan Chock and
Tyler Sarna scored four goals apiece to lead Benedictine with Robinson adding three.
James Ford caused four turnovers while
Lance Kopecky picked up five groundballs.
Cayden Cagle and
Colin Doyle split halves in goal.
