The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team took a big step towards securing a conference tournament berth by knocking MSOE from the ranks of the conference unbeatens, winning an 8-7 defensive battle. Benedictine held an early 3-1 lead but MSOE scored the next four goals.
Moussa Diallo scored a man-up goal to tie the game early in the fourth quarter.

Ben Zimmerman put in the winner with just over five minutes remaining.
Jordan Chock scored the first three goals of the game and added an assist. Zimmerman scored twice to go with an assist.
Lance Kopecky picked up five groundballs.
James Ford caused three turnovers.
James McDonald stopped 15 shots in goal. The contest marked the final home game of the year and five seniors were honored before the matchup.
