The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference has released the preseason poll for the 2024-25 men's basketball season and Benedictine University has been placed third.

Benedictine racked up 246 points. Wisconsin Lutheran, ranked 15th nationally, was a near unanimous selection for the top spot, receiving all but two first place votes which went to St. Norbert, who was picked second. MSOE garnered the fourth slot.

Benedictine reached the semifinals of the NACC Tournament last season, falling in triple overtime at St. Norbert by an 83-82 final. The team finished 16-11 overall with a 12-6 record in conference contests and a record of 11-2 at home.

The season opens at home on November 9 against Wheaton College. The first of 18 conference games comes at home against the preseason favorites from Wisconsin Lutheran on November 23.

Benedictine returns five players who made at least one start last year and added a significant recruiting class which features a transfer from NCAA Division I Akron.
